Eileen Thirza Mackay

Mrs Mackay lived in Horsforth, where in her spare time she gave piano lessons. She was a former pupil at AGS. Under her maiden name of Eileen Charlesworth, she had recorded as an accompanist with EMI. She was instrumental in forming the AGS Old Scholars Gilbert & Sullivan Society.

She suffered from dementia in her last few months, and died on 25 May 2004, at the age of 92.
