What did we do? Met, chatted, drank coffee, ate,

- I think this was the year when
there was a group occupying the “garden room” … the “Chevalliers de ???”.
They were a sort of dining club, and one of their number was in costume,
and demonstrated the fine art of opening a bottle of champagne with her
sword. [Bernard]
